Directors Message

Greetings All, 

I want to say a HUGE thank you to all who came out and helped with the Demo Days event at Dallas Harley Davidson. Your time volunteering is greatly appreciated.

I especially want to thank Ken and Lori Ballard for leading all the Demo rides. You two did an OVER THE TOP job and it is greatly appreciated. I have to say, seeing a group come in from a demo ride after the brief storm we had was a sight to see. Some very wet but smiling faces, for the most part.

We had a good turnout for the meeting and it is always great to see everyone. Reminds me of a family reunion of sorts only every month. I am always amazed at the feeling of joy that I experience whenever I am with the group. Love and comradery best describes it I think. Yes, honey, I feel the love when I am with my wife also. Have to get that in there.  

As with any family we have our ups and downs. We all get irritated with someone at one time or another. Just remember, FAMILY. We should always support one another whenever someone needs a hand. Move on from the irritation.

Now, with that said I want to remind you of the Picnic on June 4th. See the HOG page on Facebook or the website for time and place. PLEASE come out to the picnic and let’s have a blast hanging out together.

June 3rd weather permitting we will be riding up to Christian Care Center in Mesquite to a Bike and Car show for the residents there. This should be a lot of fun and we’ll probably get together for an early lunch beforehand so please, shine up the ride, put on some sharp HD clothes and join us.

Look for other stuff going on and as always join us on the dinner rides Thursday nights.
