Special Projects

MotorCops for Kids The Dallas Chapter is a co-sponsor of the MotorCops for Kids charity, together with the Garland and Grand Prairie Police Departments and the Hella Shrine Temple.  We held our 15th annual MotorCops for Kids Toy Run in November 2016 and raised $16,000 that day to donate to the Shriners Hospital for Children Burn Unit in Galveston, Texas.  Over the past 15 years, MotorCops for Kids has donated $348,500 to the hospital.   In addition, we’ve collected over 14,000 toys to donate to local children’s groups and had over 22,000 people participate in the annual toy runs.
